At Brad Marshall Homes, we consider it our duty to be good stewards of the environment. Today the goal of building a home that is 100% energy independent isn’t practical but we are working on building homes today that are ready to operate energy independently tomorrow.

A common question we get is what’s the difference in all of these terms?

There’s a lot of confusion out there about these terms. We’d be happy to sit down with you to explain some of the terminology and what it means in terms of building your custom home. The truth is, though, labels are less important than the actions we take to create results that make sense.

Our goals regarding minimizing environmental impact while delivering energy efficient, lower operating cost homes are simple. Take advantage of resources, technology, systems and partnerships that are at our disposal today to cost effectively deliver high performing homes with a minimal impact to the environment.
